The Prince Textreme Warrior 100L is the lightest member of the Warrior 100 series. At only 9.6 ounces (strung), this racquet is ideal for beginners, rising juniors and intermediate adults. With its extremely maneuverable feel, this stick gives less advanced players access to the explosive acceleration required for power and spin. Thanks in part to its head heavy balance, this is one of the most solid feeling sub-10oz racquets we’ve hit. This model also comes with Textreme, a high-tech material that manages to increase overall stability without compromising mobility. From the baseline the Warrior 100L accelerates very easily through contact, yet it manages to deliver a degree of stability that is characteristic of heavier racquets. Our playtesters were impressed by the controllable power and easy targeting. The open 16x18 string pattern not only supplies the needed bite for spin, but it also creates a very forgiving hitting area (along with a higher trajectory for easier net clearance). At net this racquet offers the best of both worlds - it is fast enough for reaction volleys yet it holds up very well against higher levels of pace. With the Warrior 100L, Prince has created a very comfortable and user-friendly racquet for beginners and intermediates. This stick offers the playability, spin and pop of a modern player's racquet without the burden of weight.
